Why I Started It's A Mom Thing ?
Moms NEED a village too!
Transitioning into motherhood was hands down THE hardest thing I've ever done. I had never felt so isolated in my life. I talked with my mom friends and we all came to the same conclusion, moms need a village too!

We give so much of ourselves to the people around us, especially to our children. Some women have someone to share the load with, others have to carry it all alone. My hope with It's A Mom Thing is that you feel safe enough to put it all down and even allow us to help you carry it.
Having a sense of belonging.
I created this community because I wanted a sense of belonging as I navigated this new, scary place.
Motherhood, while beautiful, is a difficult transition for so many women. It requires a lot of self-sacrifice and I think that it feels good to be able to share and compare our stories and feelings with one another.
I pray that you find joy, comfort, solitude, excitement and sisterhood in this community.
